Oakland Unified Arts Partners is a coalition of program administrators, teaching artists, executive directors, school district staff, and funders working to strengthen the arts education ecosystem through collaborative partnerships between local community arts organizations and Oakland Unified School District public schools.  We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise noted). 

Oakland Unified Arts Partners focuses on partnerships between local Bay Area community arts organizations and public schools within the Oakland Unified School District. Many of our organizations have long-standing relationships with schools and our professional Teaching Artists work side by side with Oakland teachers to nurture young people’s capacity as innovative creators, critical thinkers, empathetic collaborators, and effective communicators.   We work to strengthen the arts education ecosystem of the Bay Area through our emergent shared values & visioning:

Past meetings have included teaching artists, program staff, funders, and District Visual and Performing Arts Office staff. We've deepened relationships, hosted collaborative learning communities, and formed new programmatic partnerships through these meetings.
